Ive been meaning to get a steamer for a long while and decided to try this one out with the vacuum function. Im pretty pleased with it - it seems to work pretty efficiently and it heats up quickly. It doesnt spit nearly as bad as my steaming iron and I can control the steam output based on how much I press the trigger.
Loading distilled water is pretty easy but does require the use of a small funnel (included). I havent noticed any leaking after initial install of the water pod. I can get through a few garments without refilling the water, depending on the fabric type and how wrinkled they are.
Cool off takes a bit but thats really the only negative I can think of.
The vacuum feature is really nice and can be helpful in cleaning up some of that leftover lint that always seems to make its way onto some of my garments. The vacuum also helps with lighter fabrics by pulling the fabric towards the steam plate, making the process go faster.
Not sure why I dont see more reviews mentioning this but the steamer will not sit upright. Its too top heavy, even with the water reservoir filled, to the point that it topples over if its out of your hands- hot plate face down. This is a huge design flaw to me that makes the product borderline unusable, but yes, it does a great job of steaming my garments.
I really like the this steamer! It works better than I thought. The vacuum suction holds the clothes while I steam, so it is easy to remove wrinkles. I dont need to use an ironing board.
It heats up very fast, in about 20 seconds, and the steam is strong. It makes my clothes look nice quickly, even heavy clothes. The size is small and light, so I can take it with me when I travel. It fits well in my bag.
